Russ Miller is an IP
strategy, business development and Tech Transfer consultant. He assesses
business risks of new ventures, particularly technical and IP risks, and works
with start-ups to define and realize their value proposition. He was elected to the executive
committee of the Department of Energy Technology Transfer Working Group, and
served as a member of the Los Alamos National Laboratory technology transfer
external advisory board. Mr.
Miller holds the Certified Licensing Professional designation of the Licensing
Executive Society.
Russ is a frequent
speaker and panelist at the Association of University Technology Managers and
the Licensing Executive Society.
Most recently, Mr. Miller was responsible for developing Strategic Research
Alliances at the U.S. Department of EnergyÕs Oak Ridge National Laboratory
where he conducted the technology transfer program in the Life Sciences areas
for almost twenty years.
